Returns Policy

At SmartTechHub, your satisfaction is our priority. Our returns policy is designed to be transparent and customer-centric.

  • Returns Window: Contact us within 30 calendar days of delivery to initiate a return. You have an additional 14 calendar days to return the item to us.
  • Condition for Return: Items must be in their original condition, including packaging, accessories, and manuals. Custom-built PCs may incur a restocking fee if returned non-defective.
  • Shipping Costs: You will be responsible for shipping costs for change-of-mind returns. In cases of defective or incorrect items, we will cover the return shipping costs and provide return labels and packaging instructions.

 

Refunds

  • Inspection and Processing: Upon return, items will be inspected, and a refund will be issued within 48 hours to your original payment method. Refunds may take longer depending on the Payment method.
  • Deductions: Any evidence of misuse or neglect leading to damage will result in deductions from the total refund amount, excluding shipping damage, which is covered by us.
  • Shipping Deductions: For change-of-mind returns, the cost of shipping is deducted from the refund amount.

 

Warranty Policy

SmartTechHub offers an unbeatable 1-Year Parts & Labour Return-to-Base Warranty, ensuring peace of mind and support for your purchases.

  • Coverage: We cover manufacturing defects and hardware failures under normal use. This includes parts and labour for repairs.
  • Exclusions: The warranty does not cover damage from water, viruses and malware, impact, neglect, accidental damage, overclocking, mains power surges, or third-party upgrades that do not meet PC building standards.
  • Turnaround Times: From the moment you make a claim, repair turnaround varies from 1-14 days, aiming for diagnosis within 2 working days and repairs typically completed within 3-5 working days following part receipt, excluding delivery.

Eligibility for Claim

  • Valid Claims: Issues arising under normal use without evidence of excluded damages are covered.
  • Ineligible Damages: Costs related to excluded damages will not be covered under warranty but are eligible for repair services at your expense.

Shipping & Additional Costs

  • Customer Arranged Shipping: You may arrange your shipping, or we offer collection and delivery service for up to an additional £50 based on the PC’s value, weight, and size.
  • Packaging Instructions: Proper packaging is required to avoid shipping damage, including removing and securely packaging the graphics card and ensuring adequate padding for the tower.

Policy & Refunds

  • Warranty Service: This warranty allows for repair but not a refund of the PC during the warranty period.
  • Return Eligibility: You may return your PC within 30 days of purchase per our Returns Policy.
  • Discretionary Refunds: For third-party labour and parts charges, we reserve the right to refuse full reimbursement, offering partial refunds at our discretion based on the cost it would have incurred us.
